About Bullinger Home Renovations
Meet Matt Bullinger
A Lancaster, Ohio Local Who Builds Things the Right Way
Bullinger Home Renovations is a small, local crew that updates and repairs the spaces Lancaster-area homeowners use every day. No sales team, no bait-and-switch, just straight answers and work that holds up.
I’ve Always Been the Guy Who Fixes Things
I’m Matt Bullinger, and I’m based right here in Lancaster. I’ve always been a hands-on builder, the kind of person who’d rather figure out how something works and fix it right than patch it and hope for the best. Outside of home projects, I fabricate custom grills and convert vintage horse trailers into mobile bars and coffee trailers. If it can be built, I want to build it well.
I started Bullinger Home Renovations because I kept seeing the same thing: homeowners who needed good work on a room, a deck, or a yard, and had a hard time finding someone who’d show up, give them a straight answer, and do it right. Smaller jobs get passed over by big remodelers, and a lot of handymen don’t look past the surface. We fill that gap.
We focus on updates and repairs: the projects that make a home look and work better without a full gut renovation. And when we open something up and find a bigger problem, like the rotted joists on a , we tell you straight and fix it the right way.

A Contractor Who Also Knows Real Estate
I’m also a licensed Realtor. That means I see homes from both sides: how they’re built and how they sell. I know what inspectors flag, what buyers’ agents push back on, and which updates actually matter when it’s time to list. Whether you’re getting ready to sell or you just got the keys, that experience shapes the advice you get from us.
What You Can Expect From Us
Straight Answers
If a few boards and a coat of stain will fix it, that’s what we’ll tell you. We don’t sell work you don’t need.
Written Estimates
You get a real number in writing before anything starts, not a phone guess that turns into change orders.
Clean Job Sites
Floors protected, daily cleanup, and debris hauled away. We treat your house like it’s our own.
The Right Fix
We look under the surface first (the joists under the boards, the source behind the stain) so the repair actually lasts.
Local & Accountable
We live and work around Lancaster. Our name is on the trailer, and we answer the phone.
Backed by a Warranty
Our work comes with a 90-day workmanship warranty, spelled out in your written estimate.
Lancaster & Fairfield County
From Lancaster to Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Baltimore, Millersport, and the small towns in between, you’ll see our trailer parked in driveways all over Fairfield County. Most of our jobs are within a short drive of home.
Don’t Take My Word for It
Every project we write up shows what we found, what we did, and how it turned out, before and after.
