A Focal Point for the Living Room
This Buckeye Lake living room had a plain wall with nothing to anchor the room. The goal was a feature wall that brought the fireplace, the TV, and the seating area together in one spot.
We framed out the wall, finished it in shiplap, built in an electric fireplace, added a wood mantel, and set up a spot for the TV above it.

The wall was framed out to make room for the fireplace and give the finished wall some depth. Shiplap went on over the framing for a clean, finished look that stands out from the rest of the room.
